WELCOME TO GLEN EDEN FARM

Glen Eden Farm is a small holding of 50 hectares situated on the famous Route 62, 14km from the historic town of Montagu, a mere 10 minutes drive.

Andy and Claudette initially began farming with sheep, pigs and chickens, but now concentrate on the guest farm and tourism. A new "touch farm" has been opened and now has many hand-reared animals; alpaca’s, goats, springbok, turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks.

To date renovations have seen the opening of 5 cottages, 4 of which have private splash pools and a glamping site, currently with one glamping pod. Glen Eden Ranch’s current pod, ‘Protea Pod’ has a hand-made gypsy wagon and a tepee tent, the site hopes to boost 2 more pods in 2019.

There are a number of small walks around the farm, a dam with black bass and tilapia, the area also has a picnic bench and fire pit should you with to braai there. There is a touch farm which you are welcome to walk around and see the animals, feed them, most will eat from your hand, if arranged you can also get up close and personal and be taken into the pens of most of the animals.

WHAT IS GLAMPING?

Glamping is a portmanteau of glamour and camping and describes a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services not usually associated with "traditional" camping. Glamping has become particularly popular with 21st century tourists seeking the luxuries of hotel accommodation alongside the escapism and adventure recreation of camping - "WikiPedia"
